WS Bar for Attic and Truss Overhangs
Finally, a certified anchorage device for painters and other trades working on the exterior of homes and multifamily buildings! Our WS-TrussBar is a SAS exclusive design specified for temporary use by installing inverted on the truss overhangs. The bar installs with a total of 10 ea. 2.0” WS Series Wood Screws (supplied with anchor). It can be adjusted for trusses centered 12”, 16” and 24” on center with a minimum 2×4 top chord material. The trusses must be fully sheathed with bird blocking in place and fascia board installed. Exterior wall sheathing is not required. Simply attach the anchor with the supplied screws, attach your vertical lifeline or SRL and go to work. Perfect for painting contractors, especially on homes that do not have any permanent fall protection installed. Minimum overhang at eave is 22”. Please consult the WS-TrussBar 3011 prior to use.
